Nathaniel Robinson, Jr. is a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC), educator, and clinician with more than two decades of experience supporting justice-impacted, court-involved, and underserved individuals across Chicago. His work has spanned adult and juvenile correctional settings, public schools, community colleges, and community-based organizations, where he has provided individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, assessment, and reentry-focused support.
Dr. Robinson has extensive experience working inside adult and juvenile jails, conducting psychological and behavioral assessments, and supporting individuals navigating incarceration, reentry, and recovery simultaneously. He has led transition programs for individuals leaving prison, coordinated educational and workforce pathways, and facilitated counseling and motivational interviewing for youth and adults impacted by substance use and system involvement.
His doctoral research examined how incarcerated young men cope with confinement, reflecting a long-standing professional commitment to understanding the intersection of trauma, substance use, identity, and institutional systems. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Robinson has served as an adjunct faculty member and professional development facilitator, supporting educators and counselors working in high-stress, high-stakes environments.

Ileo Lott is an equity-minded leader, educator, and strategist with more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of education, workforce development, and community-based systems. Hiscareer has focused on designing programs, partnerships, and supports for nontraditional and underserved populations, including adults navigating system involvement, career transitions, and reentry-adjacent pathways.
Dr. Lott currently serves as a senior academic leader in higher education, where he has led large-scale initiatives centered on access, student success, workforce alignment, and culturally responsive practice. His work has included overseeing adult education programs, supporting community-based partnerships, launching workforce-focused initiatives, and leading professional development efforts for educators and practitioners serving high-need populations.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lott has worked closely with organizations serving justice-impacted individuals—often addressing the structural barriers that affect recovery, persistence, and long-term stability. He brings deep experience in program design, staff development, and organizational leadership, with a particular focus on sustainability, retention, and equity-centered decision-making.
At GoodChoices, Dr. Lott complements direct clinical services with systems-level insight and professional development expertise, helping organizations strengthen their people, processes, and impact.
